Mr. George Baumeister

Baumeister, George A., Age 84, of Burlington, passed away peacefully at Waterford Senior Living on October 4, 2012. George was born on the family farm in the Town of Rochester on December 18, 1927, the son of the late Charles and Anna (nee. Kipp) Baumeister. He attended St. Thomas Graded School and was a lifetime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. George lived and farmed his entire life on the family farm. There he enjoyed the simple things in life like ice cream, brats and his beloved dog Kody. He is survived by his brother: Augie Baumeister and sister-in-law: Rose Baumeister. George is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Ray, Frank, Al, John and William, and sisters: Mary and Alice. A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday evening, October 9, 2012, from 5-6 PM , with Mass at 6PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street (Hwy20), Waterford. Private family Inurnment at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorials to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
