Mr. Gary Vinz

.Vinz, Gary M., age 61, of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 28, 2015. Gary was born in Milwaukee on August 11, 1953, the son of the late Edwin and Hildegarde (nee. Trick) Vinz. At an early age his family moved to Waterford where Gary graduated from high school. He was a mechanic and “fix all” handyman person, willing to help anyone. He worked for Nestlé, Central GMC, Miller Brewing, and Tapco (Traffic and Parking Control, Inc.) His greatest enjoyment was caring for his two grand babies. Gary also enjoyed hunting and spending time up north, fishing with his son Eric, or just tinkering with anything mechanical. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his son: Eric (Carrie Mittelstaedt) Vinz, daughter: Heather Vinz, and beautiful grandchildren: Aiden and Owen Vinz. He is further survived by his siblings: Dona (Mark) Grebe, Terry Vinz, Sherri (Steve) Kominiak, Dan Vinz, Bonnie (Peter) Lukas, Michael (Gina) Vinz, Dale Vinz and Nancy (Tim) Szeklinski; and by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday June 1, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:45 PM. Services will begin at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Waterford.
