Fredrick Roohr

Roohr, Fredrick J. (Fred) of Wind Lake, passed away peacefully at Lakeview Specialty Hospital on May 14, 2013, at the age of 53. The son of Gerald and Virginia Roohr, Fred was born on January 18, 1960 in Burlington Wisconsin. He was a lifelong resident of Wind Lake where he graduated from Muskego High School. He married the love of life Carolyn on August 24, 1985 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. Fred was a hydraulics technician for 30 plus years at Dueco, and his passions included riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and custom fabricating everything from can crushers an enclosed trailer. Fred is survived by his son Jonathon Roohr of Wind Lake and Amanda Roohr of Wind Lake, brother Eugene (Cheryl) Roohr, sister Eileen (Gary) Holden, sister Annette Roohr, sister Barbara Roohr, and brother Thomas (Kym) Roohr. He is further survived by 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Virginia and his wife Carolyn. Services will be held on Friday May 17, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W. Main St. Waterford, WI 53185. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday May 17, 2013 at Mealy Funeral Home. Following services the burial will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Waterford, WI.
