Mrs. Evelyn A. Grote

Evelyn A. Grote, 101, was raised to the Church triumphant on October 25, 2021, at The Bickford Crystal Lake.
Evelyn was born in Waterford, Wisconsin to parents George and Anna (nee Johnson) Bucholtz. She married Lloyd Grote on November 21, 1940, and raised their two children in South Milwaukee. Later they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where Lloyd passed on June 17, 1981. Evelyn then moved to Schaumburg, Illinois to be closer to family.
Evelyn is survived by her brother Roger (Barbara) Bucholtz; children Carol (Howard) Larson, Richard Grote; grandchildren Gretchen Grote, Erik (Lynn Rundhaugen) Larson, Kristin (Anthony) Zimmer; great-grandson Kyle Zimmer; and many nephews and neices. She was preceded in passing by her parents, brothers Morris (Lorraine) and Paul (Shirley) Bucholtz, and sister Lulu (Herbert) Karweik.
Inurnment will be at Norway Lutheran Church Cemetery, 6321 Heg Park, Wind Lake, Wisconsin on November 10, 2021 at 11 a.m.
A special Thank You to the staff at the Bickford Crystal Lake for the tender loving care they gave to Evelyn in her final years.
Memorials can be given to Norway Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
