Mrs. Eleanore Rasch

Rasch, Eleanore K., age 89, of Waterford, passed away September 18, 2013 at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. Eleanore was born in Hales Corners, WI, the daughter of the late Edward and Lezetta (nee. Wolf) Nolan. She spent her early life in Hales Corners and graduated from West Milwaukee High School. She continued her education in Milwaukee County within a Hospital Diploma Program were she obtained her Registered Nursing license. In August of 1948 she married George Rasch at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hales Corners. He passed away on September 16, 2008. Eleanore enjoyed nursing and was retired from the Cook County, Illinois Health Department. She was a member of St. Thomas Church in Waterford. In her free time she enjoyed crafting, gardening, baking and traveling. She is survived by four children: Dan (Jenny) Rasch of Berwyn, IL, Lee (Susan Fox) Rasch of Lacrosse, WI, Tom (Marge) Rasch of Menomonee Falls, WI and Steve Rasch of Waterford; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother: John, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband: George, daughter: Peg, sisters: Elaine, Ruth and Jane, brothers: Jim and Edward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St., Waterford, WI. Visitation prior to services on Monday from 9:30-10:45 am in the Church. Burial in the church cemetery following mass.
