Mrs. Eileen Albright

Mary Eileen Albright (nee. David) Age 89 of Rochester was peacefully and blessedly called home after her long fight with cancer October 6, 2010. Eileen was the daughter of Ed and Gertrude David and was born and raised in Burlington, where she was a long time member of the Haylofters Theater. She was a proud graduate of Mount Mary College where she studied voice and Marquette University where she obtained a Master of Education degree. In 1948 Eileen married Donald Albright of Rochester where she took part in water carnivals, community choirs and the Historical Society and remained a staunch supporter of the Village for all of her life. As a teacher at Burlington High School and a Guidance Counselor at Waterford High School she was well loved and respected for her professionalism and compassion by all who came in contact with her. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Don, Brother James and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her sons Steve and Bruce (Bo) Albright of Rochester and beloved daughter-in-law Rose, her sister Fifi Jochem, nieces’ nephews and many friends around the world. All who knew her will miss her. Memorial Mass will be held Monday October 11th, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 6:00 PM with visitation in church Monday 4-6 PM. Inurnment will take place Tuesday October 12, 2010 at Rochester Cemetery at 10:00 AM please meet at the cemetery.
