Mr. Edward Neal Zimmerman

Zimmerman, Edward Neal Jr., age 90, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on July 26, 2022. Edward was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 29, 1932, the son of the late Edward and Hilda (nee. Krause) Zimmerman Sr. He spent his early life in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Washington High School. Edward started his career as an apprentice pattern maker and worked for Wisconsin Pattern. On June 17, 1957, he married Lenore Annette Janus in Milwaukee. The couple recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. Upon retirement, Edward and Lenore wintered in Florida and enjoyed the cabin on White Sand Lake in Wisconsin. Edward enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and fishing and hunting at the cabin. He cherished the company of his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his dog Cali, and all who knew him.
Survived by his dear wife Lenore, one daughter, Devonne Schaefer, one granddaughter, Tiffany Schaefer, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Hilma (Theodore) Verhaalen, Ruth (Dudley) Seraphine, Ralph Zimmerman, Audrey (Edward) Gressing, and Glenn Zimmerman.
Visitation on Thursday August 4, 2022, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 145 South 6th Street, Waterford, WI from 10-11 AM. Services will begin at 11:00 AM in Church. Private family burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to “Aurora At Home Hospice.”
