Seruga, Edward A. Age 85 of Wind Lake, formerly Milwaukee passed away at Mt. Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Burlington March 11, 2010. Edward was born in Milwaukee March 13, 1924 the son of the late Anton and Louise (nee. Scharner) Seruga. He graduated high school in Milwaukee and received a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Marquette University. Edward married Sophia Stebly on May 31, 1949 in Milwaukee. He was an Engineer for Badger Meter in Milwaukee where he had retired at age 62. Ed began an interest in HAM radio operations at age 12, of which he enjoyed his entire life. He was a member of M.R.A.C. Milwaukee Radio Amateur Club, amongst many other HAM Radio Clubs. His family and friends will never forget his call letters KE9JJ. Survived by beloved wife of almost 61 years Sophia of Wind Lake, Two Children: Son: Craig (Mary) Seruga of Waterford and Daughter: Cheryl (John) Holma of Rochester, Also survived by grandchildren: Jason (Julie) Holma, Nicholas (Katie) Holma, Erin (Scott) Farrell and Sara (Matt) Seruga, Great-Grandchildren: Lucas, Samuel and John Holma, also survived by one sister Mary Skruby, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
