Mr. Edward Arthur Oberhart

Oberhart, Edward “Ed” Arthur, age 56, Passed away unexpectedly at his residence February 07, 2022. Ed was born to Albert and Joan (nee: Tenhagen) Oberhart January 05, 1966, in Burlington. Ed was a lifelong resident of the Waterford area and a graduate of Waterford High School. Ed took a job with Hribar Trucking Co. where he was an excavator for many years as well as working on the family farm in Union Grove. Ed found the love of his life in Jennifer Lee Slye and after their engagement got married in Las Vegas February 19, 1996. Ed was a member of the “Wind Lake Drifters” snowmobile club and one of the organizers for the “Antique Tractor Ride”. Ed liked deer and turkey hunting, going for rides on his tractor, however nothing could compare to the love he had for his family and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Ed is survived by his dad Marshall; loving wife Jennifer of 25 years (12 days short of 26); Daughters Mindy (Cody Bowers) and step daughter Tonya (Robert) Friemoth: his loving grand dogs: Harper and Jasmine and cat: Boost; brothers: Dennis (Julie), Jerry; sisters: Lori (Tom) White, Sharon (Brad) Maier, Karen (Steve) Fortier; ten nieces and nephews: Bob, Crystal, Jennifer, Kaylee, Marshall, Jaci, Becca, Kyle, Brea and Stephanie; other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his loving mother.
