ROGALSKI, Edmund J. “Plummer” Edmund J. Rogalski (1915-2008), age 92, peacefully took leave of this life on April 25, 2008. Uncle Plummer, as he was affectionately known, was an independent thinker, a “Jack of all Trades” and a master of most of them. Edmund was at various times in his life a salesman, truck driver, publican, harmonica player, electrician, carpenter, plumber, storeowner, homebuilder, building inspector and most famously an organic gardener. He was a well-known expert and exponent of organic vegetable gardening for over 50 years. Edmund was often featured in organic farming publications. Edmund will be greatly missed by all who knew him and the world will be a little less entertaining with the loss of Uncle Plummer’s amusing observations on Religion, Economics, Science and Life in General. Edmund is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Irene, loving sons David and Dennis, English Grandsons King and Dartagnan, Granddaughters Robin and Erin, Daughter-in-law Teresa, close and devoted family friends Morena Amor Marquez, Ruth Marquez, Julieta (Lilly) DeGuzman. Sisters Silvia from Arizona, Reggie from Connecticut, Brother- in- law Danny (Betty) Lukasik, Godson Jim (Ann) Goulka, Goddaughters Wendy (Ed) Bushman and Judy (Dan) Alsnauer and a legion of nieces and nephews spread out around Wisconsin and U.S.A. Edmund was the sixth of twelve siblings. Edmund was born in Milwaukee to Joseph and Helen Rogalski on Dec. 29, 1915. Edmund will be laid to rest in St. Thomas Cemetery on Saturday, May 3, 2008. The family will receive friends and family from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford.
