Dwight served in the military for 25 years. He fought in WWII and Korea. He was very active in his church until his health failed. He loved Jesus and felt strongly about getting Bibles into the hands of others. He distributed free Bibles and was a frequent speaker in churches on behalf of Gideons International. Dwight loved his family, had an amazing green thumb, and really liked to travel within the United States as he had friends and family all over the country. In later years, he enjoyed playing Yahtzee with his aging father, and in turn, as he aged, he often played Yahtzee or LCR with his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800 or Delafield Presbyterian Church, 1851 Genesee St., Delafield, WI 53018.
