Douglas R. Rupert

Rupert, Douglas R. “Doug” Age 75 passed away Tuesday October 30th, 2007 at his daughters home in Burlington Wisconsin. He was born in Wisconsin April 3, 1932 to Russell and Lorena (nee Presteen) Rupert. He spent some of his early life in Waterford where he graduated high school. Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service time, he came back to Waterford where he operated heavy equipment and formed his own construction company: Rupert Construction. He has spent the last 20 some years as a resident of Panama City Beach, Florida No services will be held at this time per the family’s request. Doug is survived by special friend Nora of Panama Beach City, Florida, Daughters: Pamela (Dick) Melfi of Nobelsville, Indian; Michele (Jerry) Schroeder of Waterford, Stacy Rupert of San Antonio Texas; and Tracy (Mike) Hughes of Burlington. Also survived by sons Doug (Holly) Rupert of Waterford and Dion Rupert of Waterford, further survived by sister Nancine Cornelius of Mukwonago and Brother Ken of Waterford, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
