Mrs. Dorothy L. Kumm

Kumm, Dorothy Lillian (nee. Roser), passed away at All Saints Hospital in Racine on December 18, 2016 at the age of 91. Dorothy was born October 10, 1925 to William and Mary Roser in Milwaukee, WI. She spent her early life in Milwaukee, graduating from Rufus King High School. She married Harold Kumm in 1947. After marriage, they moved to Muskego for a few years before moving to a dairy farm in the Town of Norway where they lived for 49 years. Dorothy loved farming, milking cows, and her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Joyce (Tom) Kling, Edward (Julie), Ralph (Charmaine) and her daughter-in-law Deborah. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, her son Gary, her sister Evelyn Helm and a great-grandson.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4:00 – 5:30 PM at Mealy Funeral Home – 225 West Main Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Services will begin at 5:30 PM. There will be a private inurnment at Wisconsin Memorial Park on a later date.
