Dooley, Dorothy Ann (nee. Rucht) passed away peacefully at home Monday March 4, 2019 with loving family at her side. Born in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Edward and Marie (nee. Geuting) Rucht. Her family moved to Burlington where she was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic High School. She worked for Murphy products for a few years and on September 12, 1959 she married Daniel E. Dooley, they lived in Wind Lake, later in life were snowbirds between Wisconsin and Florida, and celebrated 59 years of marriage together. Dorothy volunteered for the Wind Lake Fire Ladies Auxiliary, she was the Wind Lake Police commissioner and later worked for Muskego-Norway School district. Dorothy and Dan are charter members of St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Wind Lake.
Survived by loving husband Dan, Children: Susan (David) Jambretz, Patti Bowen, Bruce Dooley (Tina) Grandchildren: Dan (Rosie), Allie (Adam), Tori (Josh) Drew (Denice) Jim, Courtney, Ben, Olivia and Josh. One great-grandson: A.J. along with Sister-in-law: Nancy Pautz and S.R. Kathleen Dooley.
Preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Katy Maas.
