Dorothy Bryant

Dorothy E. Bryant WATERFORD - Mrs. Dorothy E. (nee: Kotvis) Bryant, 94, passed away in Milwaukee on Thursday, March 27, 2008. She was born in Franklin, on November 29, 1913, to Isaac and Nora (nee: Smith) Kotvis. She had lived in Waterford since 1952. On August 10, 1935, in Milwaukee, she married Lloyd W. Bryant, who preceded her in death on July 25, 1987. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She was employed as a teacher in the Waterford School District for 30 years in Elementary and Middle school education. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Waterford for over 70 years. She is survived by her son, Clyde (Carol Horner) Bryant of Madison; step-grandchildren, James and Greg Robbins; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Kotvis; and nephew, Delbert (Mary) Smith and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; sister, Ruth (Dudley) Kotvis Smith; and niece, Darcy Smith. Funeral services will be held at Waterford Community United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will take place at Arlington Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Waterford Community United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
