Mrs. Donna Kay Conjar (nee: McManus)

Conjar, Donna Kay, (nee: McManus) age 76 of Lyons, WI formerly Evanston, IL, passed away with her loving husband by her side, March 27, 2022, at their residence. Donna was born to Donald & Katheryn (nee: Burke) McManus March 26, 1946, in Bristol, Ct. Donna was raised and educated in the Bristol area before continuing her education at St. Mary’s College in South Bend, IN. in the liberal arts area. While attending St. Mary’s, Donna was introduced to Lawrence Conjar by a teammate. Donna started dating Larry and after graduating from St Mary’s and they would be married June 08, 1968, in Lunenberg, MA. They moved to Evanston, IL to start their family shortly thereafter. Donna and Larry would start their own business, H.S.C. Management Corp, where she was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) before her retirement. Donna enjoyed her job, exercising, running, nature and baking, but Donna’s favorite pastime was enjoying her family and friends until she had grandchildren, then it was all about them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her loving husband Larry, one son; Matt (Cathy), five grandchildren; Grace, Kieran, Samantha, Caroline and Gavin, two brothers; Jack (Karen) and Mark (AnnMarie) other nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceded in death by her parents and her dear sister: Carol.
A Mass will be held at Christ the King Church 9235 S. Hamilton Ave. Chicago, Il 60643 Sunday April 03 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to Parkinson’s Research Foundation, http://parkinsonhope.org , in Donna’s name.
