Debra Ann Fetting

Fetting, Debra Ann “D-Rock” (nee. Gapinski), passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Waukesha on February 26, 2015. Debra was born in West Allis, Wisconsin on December 4, 1959. On July 30, 1977 she married the love of her life Jeffrey Fetting in Waukesha. They remained married for over 30 years until Jeff passed away in 2008. Debra was a unique, colorful and quirky person. She would without fear or reservation say the damndest things (often with “colorful language”) that would leave you rolling on the floor laughing or just stunned with disbelief. She was never afraid to “tell it like it is”, which so many of us are afraid to do. Debra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debra loved crocheting, puzzle books, games on her Kindle, playing board games and reading. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Debra is survived by her 3 children: Kim Sagan of Waukesha, Kyle Fetting of Madison and Kristen (Jeremy) Rocker of Menomonee Falls. She is further survived by her brother: Robert Gapinski; her mother-in-law: Adeline Fetting; her siblings-in-law: Patrick (Beth) Mariani, Michael (Shelley) Mariani, Timothy (Denise) Fetting and Tammy (Eric) Rosenow; many nieces and nephews and was grandmother to her children’s 2 dogs: Omar and Dee Dee and cat: Trinity.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband: Jeffrey Fetting; her parents: Robert and Patricia Gapinski and her father-in-law: Forrest Fetting.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4 - 6:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 West Main Street, Waterford, WI 5318, with Services starting at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy memorials are suggested to the family.
