Mr. David Mark Hanson

Hanson, David Mark, 52, of the Town of Norway, Racine County, Wisconsin died peacefully July 10. He was born June 29, 1960, in Burlington, Wisconsin, son of Donald (Duke) and Donna (nee.Malchine) Hanson. He was raised on the Hanson family farm in the Town of Norway and graduated from Waterford Union High School in 1979. He was a master carpenter and builder. He was a lifelong member of Norway Lutheran Church, Wind Lake, where he was baptized, confirmed and married. David is survived by his wife, Deanna, sons Alex and Erik, mother Donna, brother Jim(Susan) Hanson, sister Karen Hanson(Kathleen Fjelstul), father-in-law Dave Conrad(Sheila), sisters-in-law Sherrie Conrad(Charles), Gay Cooke, and Jill Bevan, brother-in-law Jan Conrad, godchildren Lindsay Frost, Shannon Malchine, Sarah Rudzinski and Brad Dahlberg, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Duke; grandparents Johnalbert and Esther Malchine, and Howard and Mary Hanson, godmother Jean Frost, cousin Eric Thor Hanson and other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated and will be distributed in accordance with Dave’s wishes to support a proposed weight room update at Waterford High School and building and maintenance projects at Norway Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday July 12 at Norway Lutheran Church 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, Wisconsin. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Friday July 13, at Norway Lutheran Church with Visitation Friday 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will be at Norway Hill Cemetery following services on Friday and a luncheon will than follow in the Fellowship hall.
