Mehring- Darlene Mehring, age 85 of Grayson, GA formerly Waterford, WI passed away at her residence Tuesday, August 18, 2015. A native of WI, Mrs. Mehring was the former co-owner of Waterford Oil Company; she was church organist at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church from 1958 to 2002 and taught music for 40 years.
She is survived by her husband: Vic Pfitzner of Grayson, GA, daughter & son-in-law: Lisa & Eric Peterson of Snellville, GA, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her father: Fredolin Robers, step-father: Albert Wuttke, mother: Lorraine Wuttke, first husband: William Mehring, son: Michael (Yvonne) Mehring, siblings: Beverly (Pete) Harris, and Ardell (Nancy) Robers.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday August 27, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM and Inurnment in the Church cemetery following Mass.
