Constance Mary Rasmusson

Constance “Connie” Mary (nee Quam) Rasmusson, 83 years of age, current resident of Wind Lake, WI and formerly of Lisbon, ND, passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 19, 2025.

Connie was born on October 15, 1941, in Fargo, ND, to the late Harley and Isabelle Quam. She attended Catholic grade school and later graduated from Lisbon High School. On August 20, 1960, she was united in marriage to Edward Rasmusson Jr.

A longtime resident of Wind Lake, WI, Connie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in both Lisbon ND, and again in Wind Lake, WI. In Connie’s younger days, she stayed home to raise her children while also helping however she could with her husband’s family farming adventures that included sod, mink, potatoes, and chickens. Once her children become teenagers, she began working alongside them for American Building Maintenance. She retired to become a full-time Grandma, taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids. When she wasn’t busy with the kids, Connie and Ed loved to travel with family and friends across the United States and Europe. She will be especially remembered for the never-ending, unconditional love she gave to us all. She was truly the best.

Loving mom to Pamela Ducommun, Deborah (Gregory) Greil, Thomas (Jennifer) Rasmusson, and Cynthia (Scott) Kieffer; proud grandma of Curtis (Debra), Kyle, Maranda (John), Melissa (Michael), Dustin (Elizabeth), Alaina, Cal, and Hunter (Coryn); proud great-grandma of Piper, Bennett, Chloe, Drake, Abel, Mariah, Madeline, Mason, Mylee, Maycee, Sydney, and Kyla; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Edward, parents Harley and Isabelle, brother James, nephew Paul, and son-in-law Roger.

Visitation will be held 9AM-10:45AM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at ST. CLARE CATHOLIC CHURCH (7616 Fritz Street Wind Lake, WI 53185), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Interment St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery Waterford, WI.
