Catherine Mittelstaedt

Mittelstaedt, Catherine J. 95 of Wind Lake went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 22, 2010 at Lakeland Health Care Center of Elkhorn. She was born February 19, 1915. She attended St. Elizabeth’s school in Milwaukee, and on October 10, 1935 she married Reinhold Mittelstaedt in Crown Point, Indiana. The couple lived in Milwaukee and moved to Wind Lake in 1952. Catherine was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, she was a HOMEMAKER with seven children to care for which was a full time job! Beloved wife of the late Reinhold C. Mittelstaedt and dearest mother of Richard (Darlene) Mittelstaedt, the late Gary (Georganne) Mittelstaedt, Diane (John) Harter, Gail (the late Ronald) Winkler, the late Thomas (Jane) Mittelstaedt, Leah (Gary) Parson, Alan (Shelley) Mittelstaedt. Catherine is also the proud Grandmother of 19 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday April 27, 2010, 11:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church Wind Lake with Reverend Aurelio Perez officiating. Visitation in church Tuesday 9:30- 11:00 AM. Burial will follow mass at Oakwood Cemetery in Waterford. Family wishes to thank the staff of Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn for their care of MOM.
