Dierbeck, Carl J., age 90, of Waterford, passed away at home March 29, 2011. He was born in Milwaukee, the son of the late Joseph A. and Rose (nee. Kohl) Dierback. Carl attended St. John’s Cathedral High School and graduated Messmer High in Milwaukee. He enlisted in the Army Air Force, serving his country during World War II where he was a Radio Man on a B-24 fighter flying from Italy into Germany. He and his first wife, Emily Jane Danovsky, had four children. She preceded him in death on January 10, 1968. On August 28, 1973, he married Arlene M. McBrair. The couple lived in Berlin, where Carl was a current member of the VFW post, and Brookfield and then settled the last 11 years in Waterford. Carl was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus: 4th Degree. He had a special place in his heart for both of them. Carl was an avid Golfer and enjoyed spending time on the links any chance he could! He is survived by his loving wife Arlene, four children: Tom, Dan (Kathryn), Jeannie, Mark (Amy), stepchildren: Robert (Pat) Mastricola, Elizabeth Markey, Richard (Sandy) Mastricola, Barbara Jungwirth and David (Joannie) Mastricola. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, further survive Carl. Preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife Emily. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 307 South First Street, Waterford, at 11:00 AM, with visitation IN CHURCH 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, family suggests memorials for Masses or to St. Thomas Parish.
