Mr. Bernard "Bernie" Dahl

Dahl, Bernard “Bernie” Age 94 of Waterford Passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side May 8, 2008. Bernie was born in North Braddock, Pennsylvania on May 17, 1914 – St. Patrick’s Day. He spent his early life in Pennsylvania and moved to Milwaukee at age 16. On June 26, 1937 he married Marjorie Belle “Marge” Foulk whom preceded him in death January 27, 1999. Bernie moved to Waterford in 1948. He was member of St. Thomas Church and a former member of Waterford Lions Club. Bernie was retired as a Tool and Die maker from AC Delco and Spark Plug of Milwaukee. Survived by two children: Marcia (Dick) Huening and Ronald Dahl of Waterford and His Grandchildren: Linda (Mike) Goff of Waterford, David (Robin) Huening of Rochester, Karen (Mel) Hebron of Raymond Township, Joann (Bob) Brownell of Florida, Rick (Lisa) Huening of Waterford, Tracy (Chad) Keller of Waterford, Julie (Jim) Heiligenthal of Burlington, Cheryl Merriweather and Rhonda (Dan) Wells of Waukesha and Ronald (Jodi) Dahl of Waterford. Further survived by 25 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandson, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday May 12th 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 307 South First Street (Hwy 20) Waterford. Visitation IN CHURCH Monday 9:30-11:00 a.m. Burial following Mass on Monday in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Church.
