Gerber, Annette F., Age 70, of Waterford, passed away January 25, 2012. She was born in Milwaukee on May 9, 1941, the daughter of John and Helen (nee. Dumbrowski) Sklander. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Alverno College with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. On October 21, 1962 she married Ronald E. Gerber at St. Matthews’s Church in Oak Creek. Annette was a choir director at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Racine, Redeemer Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and Norway Lutheran Church in Wind Lake, where she was also the Bell Choir Director. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader and riding snowmobiles in her younger days. Most of all she enjoyed practicing her music and playing the organ. Survived by her loving husband: Ron, children: Marshelle (Debra Mueller) Gerber, Chris (Jenny) Gerber and Francine (Mike) Pfeffer, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters: John (Bonnie) Sklander, Lonny (Jim) Greene and Russell Sklander. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, WI. A Memorial Visitation in church Monday from 10-11.
