Albert “Marshall” Oberhart, 84 years of age and resident of Union Grove, Wisconsin, passed away on October 23, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center of Burlington, due to long term health issues. He was born on February 3, 1940, in Geneva, Illinois, to the late Albert and Bertha Oberhart. Albert attended Rochester School of Agriculture, and was united in marriage to Joan (Tenhagen) Oberhart on April 8, 1961.
A long-time resident of Union Grove, Wisconsin, Albert worked as a farmer and also as an excavator for Bob Morrow and Reesemans. He was additionally a member of Saint Mary’s Church of Dover.
Survived by his children Dennis (Julie) Oberhart, Gerald Oberhart, Lori (Tom) White, Sharon (Brad) Maier, Karen (Steve) Fortier, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 siblings, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Oberhart; son Edward A. Oberhart; brother Dave Oberhart; and sister Doris Winckler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (23211 Church Road, Kansasville, WI 53139) followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Albert will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s of Dover.
