Perrin, Alan Curtis, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his residence in Waterford. Alan was born on August 22, 1946 to George and Irene Perrin in Milwaukee, WI. He spent his early life in Menomonee Falls where he graduated from Menomonee Falls High School. After graduation he served in the Air Force as a flight simulator instructor. It was as an instructor that he found his calling as a pilot. On September 16, 1967 he married the love of his life, Caryl Vinohradsky in Milwaukee WI. He has been a resident of Waterford for the past 18 years. Alan loved camping at Buffalo Lake, his black powder gun collections, doing crossword puzzles and wood working. He restored boats and built 2 boats from the ground up, he also built wood furniture. Alan also enjoyed antiquing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Alan is survived by his wife Caryl; daughter Wendy (Craig) Fredlund of Muskego; son Matt (Allison) Perrin of Wauwatosa; grandchildren Rachel Fredlund and Erik Perrin; sister Dee (Ted) Tompkins; brother Norman (Ruth) Perrin; mother-in-law Marian Vinohradsky; sister-in-law Sue (Steve) Macejkovic And his best friend Jim Dumke. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Alan was preceded in death by his parents George and Irene Perrin; son Brian Perrin; sister Ruby Tompkins; father-in-law Paul Vinohradsky; brother-in-law Don Tompkins and sister-in-law Marge Perrin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home – 225 West Main Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Wednesday Feb. 12th at Oakwood Cemetery in Waterford at 10:30 AM with Military Honors.
