Nancy Jean Grabowski

Grabowski, Nancy Jean, (nee. Rochol), age 79, of Waterford, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 6, 2017 at Waterford Senior Living. Nancy was born September 29, 1938 to Arthur and Jeanette (nee: Essman) Rochol in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Nancy was a graduate of North Division High School, after which she met the love of her life, Richard E. Grabowski and they were married June 1, 1962. Nancy was very active in boating around Wisconsin. She was a past president of South Shore Yacht Club Auxiliary, past officer of Milwaukee Boat Club and Ozaukee Badger Boat Club. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to polka dance, attended many of the polka festivals and enjoyed many polka cruises. Nancy was a devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church since 1977. In 2000 she became a snowbird, wintering in Siesta Bay RV Park in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Everything she did was second to the love she had for her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by children: Brian (Christine) Grabowski, Janet (Craig) Kosut, Laura (Michael) Young; two grandchildren: Elaina and Max Grabowski, brother: Harold (Donita) Rochol; sister-in-law: Gerry Belter; brother-in-law: Bob Belter, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Jeanette Rochol.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 8:30-9:45 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St, Waterford, WI 53185. The memorial service will begin at 10:00 AM with a luncheon at Cotton Exchange to follow.
