Janice Lea Fornal (nee: Balosky)

Fornal, Janice L. 81, of the Town of Norway, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 19, 2023. Janice was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on January 3, 1942, daughter of the late George and Zella (nee. Bishop) Balosky. Janice was a graduate of Park High School in Racine. She retired from Western Printing after 41 years of service to the company. Janice had also worked part time for K-Mart for 18 years. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Racine for years. Janice had a great fondness for animals. She spent many years volunteering at the Bear Den Zoo and Petting Farm in Waterford, where she could be found sharing her vast knowledge and love for every animal. Her adoration of animals continued at home with her cherished fur babies. In her spare time she loved to cook and bake. Janice will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Survived by two children, John (Danielle) Fornal, and Suzette Kumba; four step grandchildren, Kaylee, Austin, Bree and Connor; five grandchildren, Samantha, Dustyn, Jordyn, Shannon, and Summer; one great grandchild, Jaelyn, one sister, Sandra (Peter) Christensen, other relatives, and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents George and Zella Balosky, one son in law Alfred Kumba.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:45 PM at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W Main St., Waterford, Wisconsin 5318
