Mrs. Ellen Howe Zimmer

Zimmer, Ellen Howe, age 74, of Waterford, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side March 1, 2023. Ellen was born to Fred and Mary (nee. Peters) Howe on February 21, 1949. Ellen was a lifelong resident of Waterford. She grew up in the Rochester area and graduated from Waterford Union High School. Ellen met the love of her life in Randall Zimmer (passed away August 13, 2019) and they were married on May 29, 1971. They raised two children. Ellen loved all kinds of music and was always the life of the party. Her life was filled with joy. She loved to sing, dance, and have fun. Most important was her family, whom she loved to care for and support. Ellen made everything and everyone around her brighter. She was the heart and the harmony and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Ellen is survived by her two beautiful children, Amy Zimmer, and Justin (Claudia) Zimmer; four adorable grandchildren, Chloe, Cecilia, Charlie, and Henry; one sister, Karen (Martin) Howe-Taylor, one brother, John (Susan) Howe, other relatives, and countless friends.
Preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Randall. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy memorials are suggested to family. Payable to “Amy Zimmer” to be distributed as to Ellen's wishes.
